A brief history of TechMedix

Initially inspired by the concept of providing enterprise class tools and reliability to small and medium sized businesses at an affordable cost, TechMedix began operating in the Dallas area in early 2005. Starting as a break/fix IT Consulting firm, TechMedix embraced new technologies that even most enterprises dont have the luxury of implementing. Our services focus on making our customers more efficient, productive, and satisfied with their technology investments.

Today, TechMedix is a privately funded company based in Addison, TX.

The Issues

Historically, small and medium sized businesses often could not afford to staff a full-time IT professional or an outsourced consultant when they had the need to address technology challenges. Professional technology consultants typically charge upwards of $200 per hour or more, and as a result, the businesses often will decline the professional support and attempt to address the challenges on their own in one of two ways: They will either attempt to use a tech savvy employee from another area of their business or a product focused support staff who may offer short term or temporary solutions.

Neither of these options provides the time nor the expertise and assistance needed to advance business productivity and growth. How then, can a small business compete in a fast paced business environment? How can it be assured that its systems are fully optimized for best performance, and that the maximum returns on their technology investment can be reached?

The founders of TechMedix had one simple goal when TechMedix started in 2005; to deliver the same level of complete technical support found at large companies, but at an affordable, flat monthly fee.
